BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A national accreditation program has recognized nine Bucks County senior living communities as "Safest Places to Live" for demonstrating an elite commitment to resident safety.
The "Safest Places to Live" program recognizes providers that exceed baseline regulatory requirements in satisfying a rigorous 8-Point Standard of Resident Security. They are also included in a verified directory of security-first senior living.
Facilities are accredited as Safest Places To Live (SP2L) if they have met all eight points of the SP2L safety assessment standards. The standards cover controlled access, visitor identification, identity verification, real-time situational awareness, family transparency, credentialed care providers, emergency readiness, and data privacy.
In addition, communities can earn the designation "Verified Safest Places to Live" if they actively verify and credential outside care providers and vendors before they provide care, helping ensure only approved, qualified individuals have access to residents.
The only community in Bucks County earning both designations is The Bridges at Warwick on Almshouse Road in Warwick Township.
The assisted living and memory care community has been accredited under the Safest Places to Live program, meaning it has met all eight points of the SPL safety assessment standard. The Bridges at Warwick also holds "verified status," confirming that its safety practices have been independently validated.
