NEW BRITAIN BOROUGH, PA — Despite the heat, a flag-waving celebration welcomed the Fourth of July on Saturday as the Tri-Municipal Parade marched through New Britain Borough, Chalfont Borough, and New Britain Township.
The parade had it all, from “birthday cakes” to Uncle Sam, as patriotic tunes by the New Galena Band provided the marching music and politicians, judges, and county officials greeted the crowds.
Even the Governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, made an appearance, greeting residents, local officials and parade participants before the start of the parade.
