Car Crashes Into Storefront In Doylestown Borough

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA —A driver escaped injury after crashing into a storefront at the Doylestown Shopping Center Monday afternoon.

The crash happened in the 400 block of North Main Street at the Great Clips hair salon, which suffered interior damage when the Honda Accord crashed through its front window.

Doylestown Fire Company’s Rescue 19 was called to the scene to secure vehicle and building hazards. They operated on site for about 10 minutes.

There were no injuries reported inside the store or to the driver. The driver was evaluated on the scene by the Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department.
