Mover Exposes Himself, Boy Threatens School: Central Bucks Regional Police Report

Police also made arrests for driving under the influence and cited a handful of individuals for urinating in public.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during June, including a mover who exposed himself to a homeowner, a man who caused a scene inside a borough grocery store, and a boy who made threats against his school.

RETAIL THEFT, 456 N. Main Street (Target), Doylestown Borough – An 82-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged with stealing items from the store on three separate visits.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, Carousel Circle, New Britain Borough – A 40-year-old man from Sayreville, N.Y., was charged with indecent exposure following an incident in May. While working for a moving company, police said the man asked to use the resident’s bathroom. The man left the door open and was purposefully exposing himself to the homeowner, police said.

DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – A 28-year-old man from Cementon was charged following a traffic stop for speeding. He showed signs of intoxication.

DEFIANT TRESPASS, HARASSMENT, BURGLARY, Belmont Avenue, Doylestown Borough - A 35-year-old man from Quakertown was arrested after entering a residence where he was legally banned.

TERRORISTIC THREATS, 833 E. Butler Avenue (LifeWorks School), New Britain Borough – A 17-year-old boy from Norristown was charged after making threats against the school.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, E. Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough – A 36-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for lights not illuminated during the required time. He showed signs of intoxication.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, 37 N. Main Street (MOMs), Doylestown Borough – A 50-year-old woman from Pottstown, a 22-year-old woman from Pennsburg, and a 21-year-old woman from Pennsburg were cited following a physical altercation.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION, Cardinal and Eagle Roads and Moyer and Blue Jay Roads, Chalfont Borough – A 27-year-old man from Stroudsburg was cited for soliciting without a permit on behalf of the Big Wave utility company.

DRIVING UNDER THEAndINFLUENCE, E. Oakland Avenue & S. Pine Street, Doylestown Borough – A 53-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for rear lights not being illuminated during a required time. He showed signs of intoxication.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION, Doyle Street and Harvey Avenue, Doylestown Borough – A 19-year-old man from Doylestown was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop for stop sign violation.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS And RESISTING ARREST, 480 N. Main Street (Acme Markets), Doylestown Borough - A 49-year-old man from Doylestown was charged following police response for a disorderly person. The man was yelling at customers, refusing to leave the store, and showing signs of intoxication. The man refused to cooperate with officers and physically resisted arrest.

HARASSMENT, 67 W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – A 46-year-old man from Doylestown was cited after shoving another person during a verbal altercation over a dog.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - A 34-year-old man from Doylestown was arrested following a traffic stop for an expired registration. The man presented with signs of intoxication and became uncooperative with police.

June 20

SIMPLE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, 14 E. Court Street, Doylestown Borough - A 26-year-old woman from Langhorne was charged following a domestic dispute over money. The man punched the victim in the face.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, West Ashland Street, Doylestown Borough – A 31-year-old man from Ivyland was charged with DUI following a wellbeing check for an unconscious man in a vehicle with keys in the ignition. The man showed signs of intoxication.

June 21

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 25 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old man from Warrington was cited following a wellbeing check for an intoxicated man who was unconscious.

June 26

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, Main and State Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 62-year-old man from Doylestown was cited following a wellbeing check on a man falling and bleeding from the face. The man showed signs of intoxication.

June 27

ORDINANCE VIOLATION, 263 N. Main Street, (The Martin), Doylestown Borough - A 28-year-old woman from Wilmington, DE, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana following police response for a disabled vehicle blocking the entrance to the parking lot.

During June, police cited the following individuals with disorderly conduct for public urination in Doylestown Borough: A 21-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 25-year-old man from Doylestown; a 21-year-old man from Southampton; a 23-year-old man from Chalfont; a 22-year-old man from Ivyland; a 22-year-old man from Naples, FL; and a 22-year-old man from Coopersburg.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department provides coverage to the boroughs of Doylestown, New Britain and Chalfont Boroughs. Police headquarters are located inside the Doylestown Borough Hall.
