Police said when confronted by the victim, the woman remarked, "But you're ok," before driving away.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington Township woman is facing DUI and hit-and-run charges after she struck a vehicle and then left the scene, township police said.

The hit-and-run happened on June 30 at the intersection of Lower State Road and County Line Road.

After the collision, police said the victim followed the striking vehicle and flagged down an auxiliary officer, who directed both vehicles into a nearby parking lot.

Officers identified the driver as 54-year-old Esther Stollow of Warrington. While speaking with her, officers detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages and observed numerous signs of impairment.

The victim told police that after the crash, Stollow briefly stopped but then drove into a nearby CVS parking lot while looking at her phone. When confronted, she had slurred speech and remarked to the victim, "but you're ok," before driving away.

When informed she had been involved in a crash, Stollow denied any accident had occurred, police said.

Stollow's vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front bumper, headlights, and hood. She appeared unsteady on her feet and failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests.

Stollow was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Warrington Police Station. She refused to submit to a blood test, was processed, and was later released pending court proceedings.

Stollow is charged with DUI, damage to an attended vehicle, and prohibited use of a mobile device.
