Officers spoke with the driver, 28-year-old Dana Edward Getty of Quakertown, who exhibited signs of intoxication. Getty was asked to perform a series of field sobriety tests, which he was unable to complete.

Based on the observations of officers and the results of the field sobriety testing, Getty was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the station.

Once at the station, police said Getty submitted to a blood test as part of the DUI investigation. After the blood draw was completed, Getty was transported to his home.

Getty has been charged with reckless driving and multiple counts of driving under the influence.
