BUCKS COUNTY, PA — National Night Out is coming to Central Bucks County on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights with free, family fun events in Doylestown Township, Buckingham Township, Perkasie, and New Hope-Solebury.
National Night Out is an annual, nationwide campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie, and brings residents and police together for a night of fun and socialization.
Here are some of the National Night Out events taking place this week in Central Bucks County. They are free, family-friendly, and open to the public.
New Hope-Solebury Pre-National Night Out
The New Hope Borough and the Solebury Township Police Departments, along with local fire companies and the Bucks County Special Response Team, are joining forces for a pre-National Night Out on Monday, August 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Logan Square Shopping Center (Giant parking lot). The evening offers an opportunity to visit with local police officers and firefighters and to view vehicles and equipment. There will be emergency vehicles on display, a bounce house, face painting, a K-9 demo, a dunk tank, games, food Trucks, and carnival concessions.

Greater Doylestown Area
Doylestown Township will host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Central Park, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown. As in years past, the public will have an opportunity to meet and greet emergency responders from the greater Doylestown area, including Central Bucks Regional, Warrington, Plumstead, New Britain Township, Warwick, and Solebury Townships. There will be music, food, ice cream, and live demonstrations. A helicopter is scheduled to land at about 4:30 and be on display throughout the evening. So, grab family, friends, and neighbors, and come visit everyone at Central Park for friendly conversations with food, music, and demonstrations.

Perkasie-Dublin-Pennridge-Bedminster Night Out
Police departments from Perkasie Borough, Dublin Borough, Pennridge Regional, and Bedminster Township are joining together to present National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Perkasie Town Center, 620 West Chestnut Street. This year's event will feature: Displays of police and emergency vehicles, live music and entertainment, fun activities and games for the whole family, giveaways and important safety information, local organizations and community groups, and free refreshments while supplies last. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Bring the family, meet neighbors, and help build stronger community bonds that make Perkasie a great place to live and work. In case of severe rain or bad weather, the event will be relocated to Perkasie Fire Company Number 1, 100 North 5th Street, Perkasie.
Buckingham Township Night Out
The Buckingham Township Police Department will hold its fourth annual National Night Out at Peddler's Village on Wednesday, August 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. The public its invited to join the police in building stronger relationships between law enforcement and their neighbors. The evening offers an opportunity to meet local officers and their K-9 companions, enjoy music, local vendors, and food trucks.
