Worker Injured In Fall At New Britain Township Construction Site

Firefighters performed a high-angle rescue using an aerial ladder to access the building, while EMS crews made their way to the third floor.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A construction worker was injured Tuesday evening when they fell off a construction lift inside a townhome under construction in the township.

New Britain Township Police, Chal-Brit Regional EMS, along with the Chalfont and Hilltown Township fire companies, were called to a construction site on Brianna Circle near County Line Road for a worker who had fallen inside the building.

Firefighters performed a high-angle rescue using an aerial ladder to access the building, while Chal-Brit Regional EMS crews made their way to the third floor and worked with fire crews to safely remove the worker from the building.

Chal-Brit Regional EMS transported the injured worker to the hospital, where their condition was initially unknown.

The operation was run under Unified Command, led by Chief 134 (Mungavin) and Chief 34 (Marino).
