Plumstead 'Peeping Tom' Charged With Loitering, Prowling At Night

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Plumstead man has been charged with loitering and prowling at night for an incident that happened in the Cabin Run development.

Police were called to Split Log Drive on Saturday evening for the report of a man peering in a young woman's bedroom window. The homeowner's video surveillance captured the incident, which led to the man being identified as a Cabin Run resident and a known neighbor, police said.

The man was charged with loitering and prowling, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and a summary charge of harassment.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 8 at the District Court offices of Judge Gambardella in Ottsville.
