DOYLESTOWN, PA — If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, you're in luck.
The Bucks County Historical Society will be raising a glass to history with this year's Fonthill Brew Fest. The event is taking place on the grounds of the historic castle on Saturday in Doylestown.
If you're missing the Grange Fair or just looking to enjoy some homegrown fun, the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair is taking place just across the river from Bucks County in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. There's lots of agricultural fun scheduled through Sunday.
The annual Ukrainian Festival is also taking place this weekend in neighboring Montgomery County with plenty to see and do on Sunday. A portion of each admission will be donated toward relief efforts supporting the victims of the Ukrainian War.
Here are some of the fun things to do this weekend in Bucks County and beyond:
Fonthill Castle will once again host its annual Fonthill Castle Beer Fest fundraising event on Saturday, August 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Doylestown. The fun-filled afternoon welcomes beer enthusiasts over the age of 21 to the spacious outdoor grounds of Fonthill Castle, with plenty of room to mingle outside and enjoy the one-of-a-kind setting while sampling a variety of regional craft brews.

The annual Ukrainian Folk Festival and Outdoor Concert takes place on Sunday from Noon to 8 p.m. at the Ukrainian American Sport Center at County Line and Lower State Roads in Horsham Township. The event pays tribute to the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. Admission (Open to General Public — at Gate Only) is $20. Children under the age of 15 are free. A portion of each paid admission is donated for the relief of war victims in Ukraine.

The Bucks County Playhouse is marking the 30th anniversary of Jonathan Larson's iconic rock musical "Rent" with a bold new production that honors the landmark musical's legacy while inviting a new generation to experience its timeless story of love, friendship and community. Directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award nominee Jennifer Weber (Broadway's "& Juliet," "KPOP"), "Rent" runs through September 13.

Looking for a fun summer day with the kids that won't break the bank? The Hunterdon County, N.J., 4-H and Agricultural Fair, taking place through August 23, is packed with free things to see and do once you're through the gate. Fairgoers are invited to meet 4-H animals and watch shows, check out robotics, enjoy magic, trampoline, acrobatic, and wild and exotic animal shows, live bee demonstrations, tractor exhibits, live entertainment, and lots more. Admission is free, but there is a $20 parking fee. The fairgrounds are located at 1207 Route 179 in Lamberville, N.J.

As part of its three-day Summer Send Off, Warrington Township will show a free movie Friday night at Kings Park and has organized an Artisan Market on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lions Pride Park. Both events are free and open to he public.
