Public Invited To Hear "Voices From Beneath Our Feet" At New Britain Cemetery

Participants will hear about the people buried at the church formerly known as New Britain Baptist Church, now Grace Church of Doylestown

NEW BRITAIN, PA — The Doylestown Historic Society presents "Voices From Beneath Our Feet" on Thursday, August 27, beginning at 6 p.m. at Grace Church of Doylestown (formerly New Britain Baptist Church, at 22 East Butler Avenue, New Britain.

As part of Doylestown Celebrates USA 250, participants will hear about the people buried at Grace Church of Doylestown, including veterans of the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and the World Wars, as well as ordinary citizens of the early New Britain area.

"Bring a chair and sit with us outside the old cemetery walls as we bring the past into the present," said organizers.

The presentation is free but registration is required at eventbrite.com or doylestownhistorical.org
