Traffic Troubles Turn Into Ride To Police Station In Warrington

During a traffic stop, police determined that a motorcyclist was operating without a license and proper insurance.

WARRINGTON, PA — A motorcyclist from Philadelphia is facing numerous charges, including drug possession, following a traffic stop in early August on Easton Road.

Police stopped Daniel Johnathan Ciammentti, 38, while he was traveling southbound on Easton Rroad in the area of County Line after he was observed drriving his motorcycle without a license plate and weaving in and out of traffic.

Police said a records check revealed Ciammetti's driver's license had been suspended due to a prior DUI. Ciammetti was unable to provide registration, insurance, or proof of ownership regarding the motorcycle.

During the investigation, officers also observed signs that Ciammetti had recently used drugs.

Police recovered 14 suspected Clonazepam pills, a large amount of U.S. currency, and a container containing nine individual baggies with white residue suspected to be Fentanyl.

Ciammetti was arrested and transported to the Warrington Police Department, where he was processed and subsequently released.
