DOYLESTOWN, PA – Foundations Community Partnership, working in collaboration with the county's public, technical, and charter high schools, has announced its 2026 scholarship recipients.
School administrators and guidance counselors from every high school nominated students who best demonstrated a commitment to community service, preferably by volunteering their time at nonprofits serving Bucks County, academic performance, and quality of character.
In addition, the following organizations and individual co-sponsored select scholarships. signaling their commitment to the community and FCP's mission: Anonymous Donor, Capital Health, First Bank, Penn Community Bank, and St. Luke's University Health Network.
"The commitment to community service and academic excellence of our local high school students is evident within our scholarship program," said Falesha Grasty, FCP's Board Chair. "Recognizing these outstanding student leaders serves as encouragement to all to work toward positive change in our communities."
FCP awarded $1,000 to each of these Bucks County high school student leaders:
Abigail Nanakobi – Bensalem High School. Attending New York University.
Grace Boyle – Bristol Borough High School. Attending Chestnut Hill College. Sponsored by First Bank.
Haley Porter – Bucks County Technical High School. Attending Virginia Tech. Sponsored by Penn Community Bank.
Hibatullah Badru – Center for Student Learning Charter School. Attending Temple University.
Megan Fahey – Central Bucks High School East. Attending Boston College.
Emma Kurtzman – Central Bucks High School South. Attending Kutztown University.
Harrison Cornwell – Central Bucks High School West. Attending the University of Virginia.
Helena Lentz – Council Rock High School North. Attending the University of Vermont.
Nathan Szydlik – Council Rock High School South. Attending Slippery Rock University.
