BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Drivers in Central and Upper Bucks County may face delays and temporary road restrictions due to the following road and utility projects scheduled in Dublin-Hilltown, Solebury, Doylestown Borough, and New Britain Township.

A pipe replacement project will close Maple Avenue/Dublin Road in Dublin Borough and Hilltown Township, beginning on Monday, August 31, and continuing through Wednesday, Sept. 2. Weather permitting, the road will be closed and detoured 24 hours a day between Route 313 (Dublin Pike) and Hilltown Pike. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Swamp Road), Ferry Road, Callowhill Road, and Hilltown Pike. Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
Solebury Township's 2026 Road Paving Program is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 31. Work is planned on Burkdale Court, Muirfield Court, Brendan Knoll, Plumridge Road, Saddleview Lane, portions of Sugan Road, and Lower Mountain Road. Motorists should expect temporary traffic restrictions and delays in active work areas. Drivers should use caution and follow the direction of construction personnel. Work is weather-dependent, and schedules may change.
PECO is installing a new gas main along sections of State and Main streets in Doylestown Borough. Drivers are advised that State and Main will be closed and detoured one section at a time through Friday, Dec. 4. Work is taking place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas or along the detour routes because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.
Base repair work will close New Galena Road in New Britain Township beginning on Monday, Sept. 7, and continuing through Sept. 25. Weather permitting, work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and Callowhill Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 152 (Limekiln Pike/Hilltown Pike/Baringer Avenue), Hilltown Pike, and Callowhill Road. Local access will be maintained at all times.
