DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during August, including a naked boy high on drugs assaulting his friend's mother, DUI and public drunkenness offenses.
August 1
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, Dommel Way and W. Court St, Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old man from Lansdale was charged following police response for a well-being check.
August 4
UNDERAGE DRINKING VIOLATION, 229 Keeley Ave (Covered Bridge Park), New Britain Borough – A 16-year-old girl from Warrington was charged following a patrol check of a suspicious parked vehicle.
August 8
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, E. Butler Ave, New Britain Borough – A 36-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged following a traffic stop for running a red light and hitting a curb.
August 9
HARASSMENT, 19 N. Main Street (Chambers), Doylestown Borough – A 31-year-old from Bensalem and a 31-year-old from Warminster were charged following police response to a physical altercation with an employee.
August 13
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT, 697 N. Main St (Eagle Power), Doylestown Borough – A 39-year-old man from Philadelphia was charged after taking a Polaris Ranger from the rear yard of the business. A short time later, the vehicle was found parked on Church Street with the subject nearby and in possession of the key.
August 14
RETAIL THEFT, 480 N. Main St (Acme), Doylestown Borough – A 65-year-old man was charged with shoplifting. He was found sitting outside the store with stolen items.
August 15
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, SIMPLE ASSAULT, DISORDERLY (FIGHT), HARASSMENT, 229 Keeley Ave (Covered Bridge Park), New Britain Borough – A 16-year-old boy from New Britain was charged following police response to a naked boy who attacked a friend's mother who was trying to help. The boy was under the influence of illegal substances. The victim suffered a severe eye injury and facial lacerations.
August 20
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, 490 E. Butler Ave (7-Eleven), New Britain Borough – A 23-year-old man from Plumstead was charged following a well-being check for a parked and running vehicle with the man slumped in the driver's seat.
August 22
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, 480 N. Main St (Acme), Doylestown Borough – A 43-year-old man was charged following a well-being check of a subject stumbling in the parking lot as he walked an electric scooter.
August 23
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, 120 E. State St, Doylestown Borough – A 30-year-old woman from Jamison was charged following a traffic stop for traveling the wrong way down a one-way street.
August 25
HARASSMENT & DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 555 N. Broad St (Center Square Towers), Doylestown Borough – A 53-year-old man from Doylestown was charged following a domestic incident over custody exchange of their dog.
August 26
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, E. Oakland Avenue and S. Pine Street, Doylestown Borough – A 45-year-old man from Doylestown was charged following a traffic stop for erratic driving.
August 27
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, DEFIANT TRESPASS, PUBLIC DRUNK, 229 N. Broad Street (CBRPD), Doylestown Borough – A 45-year-old man from Doylestown was charged after he drove into the secured parking lot of the police department, parked, and exited his vehicle. The man told police he wanted pictures of the headlights on the patrol car because of a DUI the night before.
HARASSMENT, 432 Maple Ave (Harborview), Doylestown Borough – A 54-year-old man and a 65-year-old man from Doylestown were charged following a physical altercation at the facility.
HARASSMENT, N. Hamilton Street, Doylestown Borough - A 47-year-old man from Quakertown was charged based on an incident from January 26 when continuous contact was made with the victim despite numerous warnings.
During August
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, Doylestown Borough – The following individuals were charged with public urination: A 22-year-old from Lansdale; a 22-year-old from Yardley; a 21-year-old from Lansdale; and a 22-year-old from Blue Bell.
