Police Announce Road Closures In Advance Of Big Doylestown Weekend

Roads will be closed throughout town for the tw0-day Doylestown Arts Festival and the one-day Bucks County Classic.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — In advance of "Bucks County's Biggest Weekend," the Central Bucks Regional Police Department has announced the following parking lot and road closures for the Doylestown Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday and the Bucks County Classic on Sunday.

Road Closures – Doylestown Arts Festival
Saturday, Sept. 12 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Main St (Ashland to Court)
State St (Broad to Clinton)
Hamilton St (W Court to W Oakland)*
W. Oakland Ave (Main to Clinton)*
Pine Street (Garden Ave to Oakland)
Pine Street Parking Lot
Dommel Way lot
Plaza West lot
* Hamilton and W. Oakland will be closed overnight into Sunday for emergency access only. Local detours will be in effect.

No Parking (Doylestown Arts Festival, Bucks County Classic)

Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13

Vehicles parked on the following streets after 5:00 AM will be towed:

Main St (Broad to Ashland)
State St (Broad to Clinton)
W. Oakland Ave (Broad to Main)
E. Ashland St (Pine to Main)
Pine St (Court to Oakland)
W. Court St (Clinton to Hamilton)
S. Hamilton St (Court to Oakland)
Wood St (Clinton to Franklin)
Franklin St (State to Union)
Dommel Way Parking Lot (Kenny's Lot)
Pine St Parking Lot
Plaza West Parking Lot
Plaza East Parking Lot
Clinton St Parking Lot
Church St (E. Ashland to N. Main)

Sunday, Sept. 13

In addition to the closures listed above, the following streets will be closed:

Court St (Clinton to Broad)
Pine St (Court to Oakland)
E. & W. Oakland Ave (Lafayette to Pine)
Main St (Court to Ashland)
W. Ashland St (Lafayette to Main)
Lafayette St (Ashland to Oakland)
Hamilton St (Court to Ashland)

Racing will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until approximately 4 p.m. Access to areas within the race route, which encircles the town center, will be controlled and limited during this time.

Doylestown Dart Shuttle

FREE shuttle service is available for visitor use both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Find more information here.

Free Parking

Free parking will be available at the county-owned parking garages on Court Street and on Broad Street.
