BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Plans for a major warehouse are moving forward in Falls Township. Meanwhile, a new yoga studio and school has opened its doors in Wrightstown, and a favorite Bucks County ice cream shop is continuing to fundraise for regional fruit farmers whose crops were devastated earlier this year by a late-season freeze.

The Falls Township Supervisors have authorized the advertisement of an ordinance that would change the zoning on a parcel of land at 700 Penn Valley Road, owned by KPK Development. KPK has asked the township to consider rezoning the land from farming/heavy industrial to materials processing to accommodate Urban Outfitters' plan to build a one-million-square-foot warehouse at the property for its Nuuly rental subscription brand.

A new yoga studio has put out the welcome mat at the Shoppes at Wrightstown at 591 Durham Road. TrueYoga Studio and School opened in August inside a newly renovated space next to Organnons Natural Market. The studio is owned by Newtown Borough's Elle Kaplan, who has taught traditional yoga, conducted workshops and led trainings and retreats in Bucks County for more than a quarter of a century.

For the fourth year in a row, a Doylestown Borough upscale cocktail lounge and restaurant has won an international award for its curated wine list. Frost Lounge and Restaurant at 46 East State Street has earned a 2026 Wine Spectator Restaurant Award for its wine offerings. Four years ago, and just months after opening its doors, Frost became the first-ever Doylestown restaurant to win the prestigious recognition. This year, only 2,001 restaurants from around the world achieved the Award of Excellence, including four in Bucks County - Frost Lounge in Doylestown, Nektar in New Hope, Spinnerstown Hotel Restaurant & Tap Room in Quakertown, and Capital Grille in Newtown.

Through the end of September, Owowcow Creamery is partnering with the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance to support local fruit farmers who suffered devastating losses earlier this year from a late-season frost. "At Owowcow, our core mission is rooted in supporting local agriculture," said founder John Fezzuoglio. "We create our ice cream using their beautiful seasonal produce, and right now, our partners and friends need us more than ever. To show our deep gratitude and stand by them during this difficult season, Owowcow is donating a portion of all proceeds from every fruit-flavored scoop, pint, handheld, or sundae sold directly to the impacted farmers." Owowcow has stores in Ottsville, Chalfont, Wrightstown, Lambertville, N.J., and Easton.

Mark Byelich, the president and CEO of Attleboro Wealth Management, has been named a 2025 Five Star Wealth Manager for the 14th consecutive year, based on the 2024 evaluation period. Joining Byelich in this year's recognition is Attleboro Wealth Management's Financial Planner Jesse D'Elia, who earned the Five Star Wealth Manager award for the first time.
