DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Board of Elections has approved the creation of four temporary satellite election offices, expanding voter access to on-demand mail-in ballots ahead of the upcoming election.
With the new offices expected to open in early October, voters this fall who want to vote "on-demand" will have a choice of seven locations where they can apply in person for a mail-in ballot and receive it during the same visit.
Each location will also handle voter registration requests and include a secure ballot drop box.
The new offices will be located at:
Mail-in ballots will continue to be available at the main Board of Elections Office in Doylestown as well as its satellite offices at the county's Government Services Centers in Quakertown and Levittown.
Hours of operation will vary by location and will be announced in the coming weeks.
"On-demand" mail-in voting is one way for voters in Bucks County to cast their ballot, and voters choosing to vote by mail are not required to apply in person for their ballot. Voters can instead request their ballot online by visiting the Pennsylvania Voter Services website, or mail a paper application to the Board of Elections.
Those who prefer to vote in person on Election Day can do so at their polling place any time between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov 3.
