That includes a number of businesses right here in Doylestown. Bucks County offers a Veterans Discount Card to county veterans and active-duty military personnel, with participating businesses offering discounts on everything from meals and books to car repairs and admission to local attractions.

Two of Doylestown's best-known attractions offer military admission discounts year-round. According to the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, active-duty military personnel can receive free admission for themselves and up to six family members with an active military ID. Veterans and retired military members can receive 50 percent off an adult ticket.

Aunt Judy's Family Restaurant, a Doylestown breakfast and lunch spot, is listed in the Bucks County Veterans Discount Card program as offering 10 percent off the total check.

Music fans have a local option, too. Siren Records is listed by Bucks County as offering veterans 10 percent off their total purchase.

The Hattery Stove & Still is another downtown restaurant included in the Veterans Discount Card program. Bucks County's vendor list says the restaurant offers a 15 percent discount.
