DOYLESTOWN, PA — Cosmo Nail Lounge is kicking off October with "Beauty With Purpose," a month long breast cancer awareness campaign.
"As a locally owned salon in Doylestown, we believe beauty can be more than self-care," said owner Hue Nguyen. "It can also be a way to give back and make a difference in our community. Through this campaign, our clients can enjoy their beauty appointments while supporting an important cause."
Cosmo is partnering with Doylestown-based Main St. Missions to support breast cancer awareness. Last year, the salon raised $3,000. This year, they're hoping to match and exceed that amount.
Throughout the month, Cosmo will be donating a portion of proceeds from select spa pedicures to the campaign, giving its clients an easy way to support the cause.
"We're also excited to share that we recently expanded to our second location at The Promenade at Upper Dublin," said Nguyen. "As we grow, we want to continue bringing the same community-focused experience to each location. This October, our Dresher location will also participate in Beauty with Purpose, supporting the nonprofit 'Unite for HER' and its work with individuals affected by breast and ovarian cancers.
"For us, this campaign is about using our business to support the communities that have supported us," said Nguyen. "We're grateful for our customers and the opportunity to turn everyday beauty appointments into something with a greater purpose."
