3. Parents Sue Central Bucks In Federal Court Over Alleged "Cover-Up" Of Abuse (patch.com) — A Doylestown family has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit accusing Central Bucks School District and several former and current employees of failing to stop and then covering up severe abuse of their autistic son in a Jamison Elementary classroom. The district says it has fired key administrators, pursued discipline against staff, implemented changes at the school, and remains open to resolving the family's claims.
4. Bucks Beautiful Awards $40K In Countywide Fall Grants (patch.com) — Bucks Beautiful has awarded $40,000 in grants, including funding to restore gardens at the Doylestown Historical Society and expand native plantings at Doylestown Presbyterian Church. Several other Bucks County schools, parks, and community groups will also receive support for tree plantings, pollinator gardens, and outdoor classrooms, all aimed at improving environmental health and public green spaces.
5.
