DOYLESTOWN, PA — A "No Kings" national day of action and get out the vote rally will be held today (Oct. 17) from 2 to 4 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Bucks County Administration building at 55 East Court Street, Doylestown.
"For over a year, millions of people have come together to send a clear message: In America, we have no kings. Power does not belong to billionaires, strongmen, or politicians who believe they are above accountability. Power belongs to the people, but only if we use it," said rally organizers.
Lots of family friendly activities are planned, including crafts and sign making. In addition, rally-goers are encouraged to bring their mail-in ballots for drop off at the courthouse ballot box or vote On Demand.
"Trump is trying to sabotage the midterms," said organizers of the nationwide rally. "On Oct. 17, millions will rise up to defend our right to vote, exercise that right through the largest early vote mobilization in history and tap into efforts to protest the results."
