Theft Of Wallet Leads To Charges

In September, police received a report of a stolen wallet from BJ's gas station. The victim reported leaving a wallet on the roof of their vehicle while pumping gas. BJ's staff reviewed surveillance footage and identified 51-year-old Jeffrey Walter Kojeszewski of Warrington as the person who retrieved the wallet. The victim had an AirTag inside the wallet and was able to track it to the woods near BJ's. Officers responded to Kojeszewski's residence, where he declined to answer the door but spoke with police by phone. He told police that he had found the wallet and intended to turn it in but got busy. He subsequently turned the wallet over to police. The victim later reported that gift cards were missing from the wallet. On October 16, Kojeszewski was processed for this theft and charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft of lost property, and receiving stolen property.
