DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — If you're wondering what to do with those leftover pumpkins, here's an alternative. Drop them off at the Doylestown Borough Hall.
"This spooky season, you don't have to throw away all of your pumpkins. Instead, you can bring them to the Borough Hall (10 Doyle Street, Doylestown 18901) parking lot where they will be sent to a farm as food for livestock," the borough announced.
Doylestown Borough will be accepting pumpkins from Saturday, October 31 through Tuesday, November 3.
Both carved and uncarved pumpkins will be accepted but pumpkins must be free of mold and free from any chemicals (clorox/bleach), paint, or artificial color.
Look for the drop-off container in the borough hall parking lot. For information or any question, reach out to the borough's sustainability coordinator, Grant Rowe, at growe@doylestownborough.net with any questions.
