DOYLESTOWN, PA — Hellerick's Adventure Farm at 5500 Easton Road in Plumstead Township will hold its annual Redhead Celebration Day on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music and a full day of fall activities for everyone.
The event is billed as "a lighthearted event honoring the roughly one to two percent of the population born with red hair." It also celebrates the Hellerick family, most of whom are redheads.
While all redheads will go home with a free pumpkin, the celebration is open to everyone, regardless of hair color, and will include music, contests, and access to the site's regular attractions with admission to the farm.
Live music is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the last hayride of the day set for 4 p.m.
Admission includes access to more than 50 farm-themed attractions, along with a five-acre corn maze and tractor rides, according to the farm. Children 36 inches and under are admitted free. Reservations are suggested, but not required.
For an extra fee, visitors can enjoy barnyard mini-golf, the aerial adventure course, goat adventure and the silo climbing wall. Reservations are suggested for those attractions, according to the farm.
