BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Polls have closed in the race for U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania's 1st District, where incumbent Republican Brian Fitzpatrick is being challenged by Democrat Bob Harvie in a tight race for Congress.
Here are the current numbers as of 9:58 p.m.:

Vote count includes numbers from Bucks and parts of neighboring Montgomery County that make up the 1st Congressional District.
In the days leading up to Election Day, the non-partisan Cook Report moved the race from lean Republican to "toss-up" in a match-up that could decide party control of Congress.

The 55-year-old Harvie, who lives in Fallsington, is a Bucks County Commissioner, first elected to the three-member governing board in 2019. He was re-elected to a second term in 2023 and is currently serving as the board's vice chairman. Before being elected to the county board, he was a township supervisor in Falls Township.
Election results are unofficial until certified by the Bucks County Board of Elections.
