DOYLESTOWN, PA — A community vigil remembering Kitty Semisch will be held this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Court and Main Street.
Semisch, a retired Central Bucks High School West teacher, died tragically on Monday when she was struck by a bus in front of the Bucks County Free Library in Doylestown.
"Kitty was a shining light in many of our lives and was unexpectedly taken from us earlier this week. We are gathering to honor her and grieve her loss," the organizers posted on Facebook.
"We encourage people to bring written memories and photos to share. Feel free to bring candles for a peaceful vigil. She was a beacon in our world, and we'd like to remind ourselves of the spark that she lit in each one of us."
