A Thank You to the Community

The Friends of Kids Castle would like to thank the community for coming out to the Kids Castle Spring Egg Hunt and Castle Wrap party on Saturday, March 23.  We would also like to say a special thanks to the student volunteers who helped stuff more than 10,000 eggs and assisted with the egg hunt event. It was a great show of support for the Save Kids Castle initiative. Hundreds of children were eagerly awaiting their chance to rush in and scoop up the eggs. And once the eggs were cracked, treasures retrieved, and shells recycled, the children swarmed the castle for their last chance to play in it before it closed for repairs. By the looks and sounds of it, a good time was had by all. But now, the reality that the castle is closed has set in, and it cannot reopen without your help. Now more than ever we need your help to raise the money to renovate the playground.  We still have $80,000 of $150,000 of the Phase I fundraising goal to reach.  If you are in a position to donate, please consider making a donation at www.SaveKidsCastle.org.

If you have a child in a Central Bucks Elementary or Middle School, they
can earn a free night of fun at Philadelphia Sports Club, Highpoint, in
Chalfont, by creating a personalized fundraising page and collecting just $50
in donations. Publicize the page by sending emails to grandparents, aunts,

And just for the adults, on May 11 the Friends of Kids Castle will host a special Casino Night featuring Black Jack, Craps, Poker, Slot Machines, Roulette tables and more. There will be special prizes, raffle baskets and a live auction featuring unique Kids Castle Storefront Artwork. The event will be held from 7:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. at Keenan Motors Mercedes Benz, 4311 West Swamp Road in Doylestown.
The ticket price is just $65 and includes hors d'oeuvres, two drink tickets, $100.00 in “casino cash,” and a chance to win great prizes! To purchase tickets click on the link below.
