Doylestown Borough Announces Details For Spring Scenic Strolls

Doylestown Borough has announced the details for its 2017 Spring Scenic Stroll walking series.

The walking series, organized by the borough Park and Recreation Board, is a chance for you to walk with your neighbors and check out some local scenery. All walks start at at 9:00 a.m.

Walks are not held on rainy days.

Here is the schedule and meeting places:

• March 22: Town Walk West, at the YMCA parking lot
• March 29: Maplewood, at Veterans Memorial Park, S. Chubb Drive
• April 5: Fonthill Woods, at Moravian Tile Works parking lot
• April 12: Town Walk East, at Doylestown Cemetery center gate
• April 19: Senior Center, at Shady Retreat Road parking lot
• April 26: Doyle/Lenape/Hospital, at Neis Park parking lot, N. West St.
• May 3: Downtown Stroll, at the James Lorah House, Main & Broad
• May 10: Bucks Co. Free Library, at 150 S. Pine St parking lot
• May 17: Town Walk East, at the Doylestown Cemetery center gate
• May 24: Maplewood, at the Veterans Memorial Park, S. Chubb Drive Fonthill Woods walk follows dirt and gravel paths that are uneven in places, therefore depending on conditions, we may not go through the wooded areas, but around the grounds and neighborhood.
