According to information from Doylestown Borough, the East Street and Sandy Ridge wells were tested for Perfluorinated Compounds (PFCs) after elevated levels of the contaminant was found in water in the Cross Keys area of Doylestown, Plumstead and Buckingham townships last month.
The testing results indicate that the highest level of PFCs found was 17 parts per trillion, which is below the Lifetime Health Advisory Level of 70 ppt.
