Doylestown Realtor's Donation Will Buy Wigs For Doylestown Health Cancer Patients

Wigs can help patients fighting cancer feel confident and bring a sense of normalcy to their difficult lives.

In the season of giving, a local realtor donated funds to Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute that will help woman undergoing cancer treatments get wigs to help bolster their self confidence.

Deana Corrigan and the Deana Corrigan Team at Realty One Group Legacy presented a check for nearly $1,000 to Doylestown Health CEO Jim Brexler recently.

“Our Real Estate team believes strongly in giving back to the communities that we serve and call home,” Corrigan said in a statement. “We are thankful to all that participated in our fundraiser to support Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute. They are truly making a difference by helping those who are struggling in our local community.”

The funds will be used to help purchase wigs for patients of Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute from Ribbons Studio, a store located on the ground floor of the Cancer Institute that provides wigs, post-mastectomy garments, and clothing for patients undergoing cancer treatment, according to the healthcare facility.

The money was raised at a celebrity bar tending event held in October at Chambers 19 Bar and Bistro in Doylestown, according to a release.
