January 2014 Real Estate Market Statistics

The January 2014 Real Estate Market Statistics (provided by TrendMLS) are now officially posted for all our local counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.  Year to date for Bucks County in January 2014, settled single family homes were up 6.51% from last year.  The average sales price in Bucks County came in at $337,000 up 13.85% from the previous year.  Looking at our surrounding counties, Chester County was down 3.02% in settled single family homes for an average sales price of $330,000, Delaware County was down 13.39% at $258,000, Montgomery County was up 3.20% at an average of $316,000, and lastly Philadelphia County was down 15.39% in settled single family homes at an average sales price of $179,000.
