The True Meaning of the Holiday Season
An act of kindness shown by a local Salon owner for a woman faced with chemotherapy as a result of breast cancer

In a world that is often times selfish and insensitive it is nice to know that compassion and generosity does exist!
My client who has been diagnosed for a third time with breast cancer is again faced with hair loss as a result of chemotherapy. She was a recipient of a generous act of kindness by Maritza Brint, owner of Salon 39.
Teri is a beautiful, strong, courageous woman who I refer to as "The Come Back Kid". She is now battling not only the cancer but her need to hold onto her dignity and self image.

Teri was provide with a couple of donated wigs that were in desperate need of styling. Maritza was the "Angel" that came to Teri's rescue treating her to a new youthful wig styling session free of charge. The amount of joy and self confidence it instilled in Teri was heart-warming and a true demonstration of the Holiday Spirit of " Giving Forward".
