It’s time to register for the Annual Y RUN 5k set for Saturday, May 12. The early evening race includes a traditional 5k, Strength Walk and 1-mile Fun Run.

The event will once again be hosted on the Delaware Valley University campus where runners enjoy scenic views of the campus’ open winding roads and rolling hills.

The 1-mile Family Fun run begins at 5:00 PM and the 5k race start is scheduled for 5:30pm. A Strength Walk will immediately follow the 5k runners on the course.

This year the race has a special Mother’s Day Theme. Moms, grandmothers, aunts and friends are invited to stop by the “Paint Spot” to customize their race shirts to create a special race day memory. There will also be a selfie station where you can pose with your favorite cheerleader or running buddy.

All are invited to a post-race celebration featuring local food vendors including Nina’s Waffles and Jules Thin Crust, available for purchase. Also, runners 21 and older will receive a complementary adult beverage. A post-race hydration party for runners 21 and over is also offered at Chambers 19 in Doylestown with one free drink per race bib.
