Has Christ Been Divided?
Dear Friends,
Everyone is invited to take part in a service observing the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at Trinity Episcopal Church, 234 Spring Garden Street in Easton which will take place on Sunday, January 19 at 4 pm. As the Ecumenical Clergy & Congregations of Easton, WE are honored to invite the churches of Easton to take part in this community time of worship and fellowship. We are asking for participation from all the Christian churches in Easton in at least two ways: One aspect of the liturgy will be the placing of objects on the altar that represent our several traditions as an expression of the diversity of expressions within the Body of Christ. Another way to participate is to bring a food item to the reception that will follow the service. Please also announce this service and encourage people to take part in this tangible witness to the unity of Christ's body. It would be great if you could take part and if members of your congregations would take part. Please respond by calling our parish office. Please speak to Sr. Patricia-Michael Hauze, our administrator at 610-253-0792 or e-mail her at parish@trinityeaston.org. You can also call me at the same number or e-mail me at rector@trinityeaston.org. God's blessing on you all!
