Surveillance footage helped identify the suspect, who has prior retail theft convictions, and Forks Township Police are asking anyone with information to call or submit an anonymous tip.
• Palmer Township considers potential liquor license for Rutter's (wfmz.com) — Palmer Township officials are weighing a liquor license transfer for a planned Rutter's convenience store and hearing details on a major update to their land development rules. Supervisors also heard from the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission about possibly joining a regional Easton partnership, which could coordinate planning and funding while preserving Palmer's autonomy.
• Women's Soccer Travels to Boston for Saturday Clash (bucknellbison.com) — Boston University's women's soccer team is coming off a tough late loss at Lafayette in Easton, where they surrendered two goals in the final minutes.
