• Integrated Power Services Acquires Belyea Company (pulse2.com) — A long-established Easton company, Belyea, has been acquired by Integrated Power Services, but will keep its local facility and leadership in place. The deal connects Belyea's 150,000‑square‑foot Easton operation and high‑voltage equipment inventory to IPS's national network, potentially bringing more investment, jobs, and technical work into the city while expanding services for utilities and industrial customers.
• Lehigh Valley high school football: Week 7 EPC predictions and a look at a matchup of PIAA powers in Easton (mcall.com) — Easton football fans have a big Week 7 matchup as the Red Rovers host Northampton in a key District 11 Class 6A race, with Easton riding a 14‑game series win streak. The article also previews other Eastern Pennsylvania Conference games and highlights a high‑profile St. Joe's Prep–La Salle showdown at Lafayette's Fisher Stadium that should draw plenty of local interest.
• WarrenUAS Hosts Second Tactical Drone Training Course for Regional First Responders (dronelife.com) — Easton's water rescue team recently joined other regional departments for advanced tactical drone training at Warren County Community College, sharpening skills for search‑and‑rescue and hazardous situations. A follow‑up course on November 21 will focus on team leadership and mission planning, helping local first responders use drones more safely and effectively in emergencies across the Lehigh Valley and nearby New Jersey communities.
