Arts Community of Easton, Quadrant partner to showcase local artists
Emerging artists show runs through January 31st.
Looking to escape the frigid grip of winter for a few hours? Here’s a suggestion that’s both cozy and cool (in a good way).
“Here, There, and Everywhere” is an exciting new art show offered through a collaboration between the Arts Community of Easton (ACE) and the Quadrant Book Mart and Coffeehouse. The Quadrant, located at 20 N. 3rd Street, Easton, is exhibiting the show through Jan. 31.
Devin Feely, the show’s curator as well as a contributing artist, named the exhibit “Here, There and Everywhere” because the title describes where he encounters art. “It’s a fantastic display of a very small percentage of phenomenal emerging artists from across the Lehigh Valley. I could not have been more pleased with the artwork I received.”

The show features 47 works of art from 13 local artists at various stages of their careers. Exhibit visitors will experience a wide variety of mediums—from photography, pen and ink drawings, and sculptures to charcoal drawings, hyper-realistic paintings and watercolor paintings.
The artwork is at once eclectic, yet complimentary, a credit to Feely’s skills as a young curator. “The act of hanging the art itself can be a work of art, in a sense,” says Feely. “Since I chose the artists, not their works, I was glad to see how well the pieces worked together.”

So the next time you are downtown, be sure to stop by the Quadrant. Warm up with a cup of coffee, look at a book, and check out “Here, There and Everywhere.”
