Extraordinary photos of unusual animal friendships will draw the whole family to this book.  Unlikely pairs like a basset hound and an owl, comical pairs like a giraffe and an ostrich, and unnatural pairs like an orangutan and a tiger will amaze and amuse.

Each photo is accompanied by a short poem about friendship and a paragraph explaining where the pair lives and how long the friendship has lasted.  Most of the animals are in zoos or wildlife sanctuaries, but some of the photos were taken in the wild.
