Check It Out - Poetry Troupe Performance

Don't miss this performance by the Easton Area Public Library's children's Poetry Troupe at the Palmer Branch on April 10 at 4:30 p.m.

This week, instead of telling you about a children’s picture book, I’m going to use my blog to shamelessly promote an upcoming performance of the Easton Area Public Library’s Poetry Troupe.

This group of talented youngsters between the ages of 8 and 14 will be performing at the Palmer Branch of the library at 1 Weller Place this Tuesday, April 10, at 4:30 p.m.  The program is free and open to the public.

Lasting under thirty minutes, the program includes poems that are funny, serious, and mysterious by poets from Shel Silverstein to Edgar Allan Poe.  The poems are performed from memory with props and costumes, sometimes as solos, sometimes as duets or in groups.

What better way to celebrate National Library Week AND National Poetry Month than by bringing your family to enjoy, laugh, and share in the pleasure of children’s poetry?
