Easton Signage, A Lawsuit Waiting to Happen

Dangerous signage all over Easton with no regard for bicycles or pedestrians. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

As I ride my bike through Easton, I find it l.

The signage is downright dangerous to bicycles and pedestrians. There is a huge sign claiming roadwork ahead right in the middle of the sidewalk at the fastest downhill section of Larry Holmes Drive.

It forces a bicycle to either brake hard, get off the bike or crash into traffic. It makes it impossable for walkers also. Then there is a huge sign for road work ahead on the Free Bridge. It takes up the entire sidewalk and forces bikes and walkers to jump into on coming traffic.

Why do we have to be told all over Easton that road work is ahead? We see it everywhere with unfinished sidewalks here and there. Why cant the workers finish one sidewalk, make it walkable and then go on another sidewalk?Instead they leave an unfinished sidewalk, and move on to chop up more sidewalk, making all of the street very dangerous for any bikers or walkers in all of Easton.

I think the person in charge of street construction should look at his own body and notice that he too has legs, and should try and use them walking around Easton. I challenge to Mayor of Easton to ride down that hill on his bike and see how foolish the signage is in his town.
