The Adult Summer Reading Program: Read Books . . . Win Prizes!

Libraries have been running children's summer reading programs since the 1890's, but the adult program is a recent development. Now in its fifth year, the Easton Area Public Library's Adult Summer Reading Program aims to help adults rediscover the fun of reading. And few things are more fun than winning prizes.

Local businesses have donated prizes ranging from a large pizza to grocery gift cards, movie passes, even a month's gym membership. All you have to do to enter is read a book and complete an entry form online or at the Library. You must be 18 and have a valid fine free library card.

The program runs through August 18. To enter, go to www.eastonpl.org or pick up a form at the Main Library or the PAlmer or South Side Branches.
