Brother Assaulted Brother, Police Say
Steven Richard Shivone, 25, accused of punching his sibling several times.

Domestic violence often involves girlfriend and boyfriend or wife and husband.
But Easton police Thursday night handled a domestic violence case involving brother and brother. And it was labeled a domestic violence case because the brothers live at the same residence, court records say.
The records say Steven Richard Shivone, 25, of the 1100 block of Bushkill Street, punched out his brother, Anthony Shivone, whose age is not listed.
Steven punched Anthony in the face several times, causing “cuts and lacerations” to Anthony’s “lip and nose,” the records say.
When officers arrived around 6:15pm, they found Anthony with the injuries, according to a criminal complaint filed by Patrolwoman Margaret Stahlnecker.
Anthony said he and his brother started arguing and then Steven punched him in the face “numerous times.”
Steven Shivone was charged with simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned later Thursday by on-duty District Judge John Capobianco of Nazareth and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
