Join us to hear how the image of Rosie the Riveter still symbolizes women’s strength, determination, and ability to adapt to any job or situation. 
During World War II war, our nation turned all its manufacturing resources into wartime production.We needed many more workers, but most men of military age went into the armed services.The image of Rosie the Riveter was created to attract a relatively untapped labor source—women.They responded patriotically, going to work in factories where they soon proved that they could do the jobs as well or better than men. 
Held at the Highlands of Glenmoor clubhouse, 1 Highlands Court, Easton (off Corriere Road). $5 per person.

We elevated our Mother's Day Run into an event experience! All women runners get a fresh rose at the finish line. This fun, flat, fast course is sure to please every runner, not to mention, we have wonderful post-race celebration and bling to please any runner.
All registrants will get a t-shirt, medal &amp; free pair of socks!
All first time half marathon and combo platter finishers receive a plaque!
Early Start Information: No early starts for 5K/10K A single early start time 1 hour before the actual start time for Half (&amp; Full if applicable) No awards for any early starts
Also, anyone doing the early start should be trying to run a 15min mile or slower for the half or full. If they end up doing faster than 2:15 for the half they may not get a time.
