Cause of Two Recent Fires Unknown

Foul play not suspected in Tombler's, Kleinhans Street fires.

City fire officials say they don't know what caused two destructive blazes last week.

On July 14, a fire wiped out two homes on on the South Side. Two days later, destroyed Tombler's Home Bakery in Glendon.

Fire officials told the Morning Call Thursday they could not determine the causes of either fire, but say they were not suspicious.
