Charlie Daniels is an American musician known for his contributions to country and southern rock music. He is perhaps best known for his number one country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” but the hits don’t stop there. The Charlie Daniels Band has continued to populate radio with such memorable hits as “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” “In America,” and “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” for over 50 years.
