City Man Headed to Court on Assault, Theft Charges

Police say Luis Fish stole woman's car, grabbed and threatened her.

An Easton man is headed to county court on assault and theft charges.

In late March, Luis Fish, 34, of 679 Northampton St., Apt. 1, was involved in an altercation with Sherrie Tyson, after allegedly stealing her car and returning it with most of the windows smashed. 

City police say Fish grabbed Tyson and told her he "didn't care if he goes to jail." He was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, and theft. On Tuesday, Fish -- who is still in prison -- waived the charges against him in a preliminary hearing before .

Court records say Tyson had a protection-from-abuse order against Fish, but their exact relationship was unclear.
