City Parking Deck to be Closed for Repairs

The city's parking deck on South Third Street will be closed between the hours of 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. from the evening of Sunday, April 29 to the morning of Monday April 30, and the evening of Monday, April 30 to the morning of Tuesday, May 1, a recent notice from the city public works department says.

During these periods, the garage will be completely inaccessible, and there will be no entry or exit of vehicles permitted.

The closure is due to maintenance and repairs to the nearly 40-year-old parking deck, which have been ongoing over the past week.

The city recommends making alternate parking arrangements for those who normally park in the city deck and plan to use their vehicles during those hours.
