District Issues Warning About Man Who Approached Student

An EASD alert has been issued this afternoon, describing the man and vehicle involved in the West Ward incident that took place early Wednesday morning.

Easton Area School District officials say a female high school student was solicited at her bus stop in the West Ward early Wednesday morning and are asking for any information the community may have about the incident or man involved.

From the district:
“At approximately 6:30 a.m., a Hispanic male in a red pick up truck attempted to solicit a female high school student in the area of 10th and Ferry streets. The pick up truck was described as a red GMC and is said to have a cover on the back. It is a PA license plate with the number HVP5183. The information was reported to the Easton Police Department and they are investigating. If anyone has further information, please contact the Easton Police Department.”
