Drug-Related Shooting in Easton, Victim In Stable Condition

Easton Police report that an early Thanksgiving morning shooting was drug-related.

A 22-year-old New Jersey man is in stable condition after having been shot during a drug-related shooting, according to police.

The man was walking along the 200 block of South 11th Street shortly after midnight on Thursday when confronted by the gunman, wearing a black jacket and black hood, according to The Morning Call. The gunman allegedly fired and both fled North on 11th Street. An ambulance was issued to the first block of North Warren Street for a man who was reportedly shot in the leg and buttocks.

Police say the victim is in stable condition, but has “been less than cooperative,” The Morning Call reports.
